Christophe Charpenel vit et travaille actuellement en France.

Il se passionne pour la musique rock à l'âge de 17 ans et joue dans différents groupes (basse, claviers, guitare) avant de découvrir le jazz et les concerts à l’Amphi de l’Opéra de Lyon. A partir de 2010, il commence à couvrir les festivals et concerts pour plusieurs medias.

En 2012, l’exposition Jazz Effusion à l’Opéra de Lyon le révèle en tant que photographe de jazz.

Christophe Charpenel participe aujourd'hui à de nombreux projets et parutions dans le domaine de la musique, expose régulièrement en France et à l'étranger et poursuit ses réflexions photographiques sur le paysage ou encore l'identité.

Christophe Charpenel currently lives and works in France.

He discovered rock music at the age of 17 and played in different bands (bass, keyboards, guitar) before discovering jazz and concerts at the Amphi de l'Opéra de Lyon. From 2010, he starts to cover festivals and concerts for several media.

In 2012, the Jazz Effusion exhibition at the Lyon Opera revealed him as a jazz photographer. 

Today, Christophe Charpenel participates in numerous projects and publications in the field of music, regularly exhibits in France and abroad and continues his photographic reflections on the landscape and identity.
